You may be asking, “What is soft washing?” Well, soft washing is a cleaning method that uses a biodegradable cleaning solution as the primary mechanism to remove stains. These can include both organic stains and synthetic stains. Organic stains are those caused by mold, mildew, dirt and algae. Synthetic stains can include paint, grease, oil, and oil-based products.
The soft wash process consists of gently applying the solution with specially designed low-pressure nozzles that produce around 150 to 300 psi. This protects those exterior surfaces that would otherwise be damaged by high water pressure. The most common applications for soft washing include house washing, roof washing, and washing wood decks and fences. Oftentimes, soft washing and pressure washing are used in combination to achieve the best results. An example of this would be sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces.
